2010–2011 Season

This season Equity Showcase Theatre is celebrating its rebirth and its 50th anniversary. In preparation the company has been rebuilding, refocusing and visioning for the future. Equity Showcase continues to honour the original mandate of this historic organization founded fifty years ago:

"To stimulate, cultivate, advance, promote, foster, sponsor and develop appreciation and interest in the legitimate theatre and in the drama in any and all media of the dramatic and performing arts."

This anniversary season will see announcements of partnership programs with other theatre companies in our community, professional development ambassador outreach across Ontario and Canada, and the re-launch of our beloved showcases with an extraordinary project to be announced. Equity Showcase Theatre is proud and honored to have served emerging and established theatre professionals for fifty years. We have every intention of doing so for another fifty, and we are thrilled to take our place in our community once again in this special year. EST is continuing the tradition by doing what it has always done best: providing a place to connect with peers, excellent professional development, and unique opportunities for performance showcases. We hope you will join us in celebrating our Golden anniversary.
