Step-by-step walk through for applying to a class |

Equity showcase Theatre now runs out of an Online Virtual Office only. As we have no physical office location, all applications must be submitted online through the equityshowcase.ca website. Please follow this step-by-step method to complete your application:
- When you open the website (www.equityshowcase.ca), follow the link in the left-hand menu for "PDP Courses & Training".
- Once you click this menu item, a new menu will appear below this. All our currently available classes are listed under the link "All Classes".
- Once you are on this page, a listing of all classes currently available for application will appear in the middle of your screen. Find the class you wish to apply for and click the title of that class.
- This will bring you to the class information page, with all the details on that specific class (including dates, times, price etc). Scroll down the page beneath the class location and you will see a button titled "Apply for this course now!".
- Clicking this button will bring you to the application form. Once on the application form, please completely read the application guidelines (in blue).
- As you scroll down, you should note the class number in which you are applying for.
- Below the red box marking your class number is the information you must complete. Enter your name, mailing address, city, postal code, telephone number, email address, and answer if you are a member of Canadian Actor's Equity Association or not. These items are required for a complete application.
- In the section below, if you are a member of CAEA you must upload a computer image (scanned) of your current CAEA membership card. If you are not a member, skip this item and move to the Headshot upload.
- To upload a headshot, simply click the 'browse' button beside this item. A window will open to which you can search your computer. Find the image file within your computer and select 'open'. Your headshot MUST be of the following file type: .jpg,.gif,.jpeg,.pdf,.wpd,.doc and MUST be less than 195MB in size, or it will not upload.
- To upload a resume, follow the instructions above for your headshot. Note the same file and size restrictions.
- The Further Information section is optional and you need not include anything in here.
- Select that you have indeed read and understand the Application Guidelines.
- The feedback area is optional - you can select how you heard about us from here.
- The Verification code MUST be entered to submit your application. Inside the small red box in the white area, certain words will appear. In the yellow area directly below (Type the two words), you must type the exact words from the white area above. If you cannot see these words, or cannot see the yellow section, read the instructions below in italics regarding refreshing the image.
- Once the Verification words have been correctly entered - you are free to submit the application. If the verification code is incorrect, the page will reload with a yellow warning message "Some parts of your form have not been fully filled in, please check the specific error messages below and try again". The Verification section will be highlighted in yellow. Please try again.
- Once you submit the application, you will be directed to a thank you page and will also be emailed a copy of your application for your records.
